Jasmine Brewster Piper, DC, DACBSP®
FOUNDER | EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dr. Jasmine is a sports chiropractor, educator, and trailblazer in sports medicine who is deeply committed to advancing diversity in the profession. As the Founder of the Black Sports Chiropractic Network (BSCN), she is driven by a powerful "why": to create visibility, access, and opportunity for Black sport chiropractors, specifically Black women—and to build a legacy of excellence, representation, and community for future generations.
With a clinical and on-field presence spanning professional, collegiate, and international competition, Dr. J currently serves as a team doctor with USA Fencing, including her most recent role supporting Team USA Parafencing at the Paris ‘24 Games. She provides high-performance care to elite and professional athletes across multiple disciplines, helping them stay at the top of their game through evidence-based care, recovery strategies, and injury prevention.
A national authority in concussion management and sports injury, Dr. J trains fellow doctors and students across the U.S., preparing them for advanced certifications in sports chiropractic and concussion protocols. Her expertise bridges clinical excellence with real-world application—equipping the next generation of providers to meet the highest standards in athletic care.
Dr. Jasmine believes that when Black women lead in healthcare, entire systems evolve. Through BSCN, she is creating space for more Black women to thrive in sports medicine, not just as providers—but as leaders, speakers, and changemakers.

Tyler Johnson, DC, CCSP®
FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER
Dr. Tyler Johnson is a former Division II football player from Gannon University, earning his BS in Sport and Exercise Science and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States. He served as a leader of the National Rehab2Performance Club, studying a multitude of rehab systems. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician , and spends time outside of the clinic coaching football, volleyball, and T&F.

Micayla Batchlor, DC, CCSP®
FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER
Dr. Micayla Batchlor is a former Division I track and cross-country athlete from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States. She is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician with a strong focus on advancing equity and inclusion, shaped by her time teaching in under-resourced schools through Teach for America. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, and being outdoors.
